of Oil and Moisture in ground Olives. Also measures Acetic
Acid and Moisture in Olive oil. |
|
The NIT-38 Olive Analyser is a powerful NIR spectrophotometer suitable for the analysis of oil and moisture in ground olives and acetic and moisture in virgin olive oil ,using NIR transmission spectra.
The NIT-38 Olive Analyser measures the amount of ligt absorbed by the sample across the NIR spectrum from 720-1100nm.Light is passed through a sample of mashed olives. Water, oil and acetic acid absorbed NIR energy at specific frequencies. The amount of light obsorbed at each frequency is used by the instrument's computer to measure the amount of water, oil and acetic acid in the sample.
The ground olive or virgin olive oil sample is loaded into a sample cell, which is then loaded into the NIT-38 Olive Analyser.A moving Transport moves the sample cell up and down through the light beam.up to 9 separate measurements can be made in less than 1 minute and the average of the measurements displayed on the screen. |

The NIT-38 Polymer Analyser is a powerful NIR spectrophotometer suitable for the analysis of hydroxyl number and carboxyl number, moisture and other parameters and components of polymers and plastics using NIR transmission spectra.
The NIT-38 polymer Analyser measures the amount of ligt absorbed by the sample across the NIR spectrum from 720-1100nm.Light is passed through a sample of material. The chemical components absorb NIR energy at specific frequencies. The amount of light obsorbed at each frequency is used by the instrument's computer to measure the concentration of the component.
For powdered or granular materials, eg,plastic pellets or powers, the NIT-38 Polymer Analyser uses a Sample Transport Module(STM) that moves the sample cell up and down through the light beam.up to 15 separate measurements can be made in less than 1 minute and the average of the measurements displayed on the screen. The STM accepts samples cells for granules, pastes and slurries, liquids and powders. |

| FOP-38 OL (Fiber Optic Probe On Line) Analyser |
 |
 |
The FOP-38 On Line Analyser is a powerful near infrared spectrophotometer capable of measuring protein, moisture, fat, alcohol, sugars and other components in cereal grains, oil seeds, dairy products, smallgoods and processed meats, dough beverages, pellets, granules, liquids and slurries. The instrument consists of a NIR Spectrometer, a Remote Sampling Device and a Remote Display Module. The NIR Spectrometer can be mounted up to 10 meters from the sampling point. The Remote Sampling Device is mounted on an auger, a pipe or a conveyor belt and is connected to the NIR Spectrometer using a Fibre Optic Cable. The Remote Sampling Device collects the NIR light passing through the sample. |
The Fibre Optic Cable transmits the light back to the spectrometer, where the components concentrations are calculated. The data is displayed on the Remote Display Module which can be mounted at a convenient position for use by an operator. Alternatively the system can be operated from our software run on a PC and the data shown in real time in the form of trend charts. 4-20mAmp output signals are also available for supply to other process control equipment.

NTAS (NIR Technology Australia Software) |
 |
NTAS is a software suite developed to provide users of NIR Technology AustraliaÕs instruments the ability to develop applications using Discriminant Analysis and Partial Least Squares Regression.
The major attraction of NTAS is the ease of use, yet it offers a comprehensive range of chemometric tools to collect spectra, transform spectra, extract spectral information and to develop models to make quantitative and qualitative measurements using NIR analysers.
NTAS has four operating functions;
Scan and Display: allows the operator to connect the analyser to a PC, collect spectra using a range of setup parameters, overlay spectra, edit constituent data, convert to 1st and 2nd derivative spectra, SNV and MSC spectra, and save spectra.
Discriminant Analysis: based on Mahalanobis Distance, this routine allows users to develop libraries of NIR spectra, scan unknown samples, identify unknown spectrum from the library, provide a quality parameter, ÒSameness ValueÓ, to show how close a spectrum is to the library spectra.
Analysis: allows users to run quantitative analysis from a PC, save results and produce plots of the data.
Calibration: provides the ability to load spectral files from our NIR analysers, edit the constituent data, perform Partial Least Squares (PLS) calibration, test calibrations against test sets, plot Predicted vs Reference data, Residual vs Reference Data, Principle Components vs Error, exclude and include spectra directly from plots, save models, create calibration files with product and constituent names, calibration ranges and ASIS/CM correction values, and download calibration files into the NIR analysers. |
